Artist Lines of Credit

Our training programs give Native artists the tools and support they need to manage entrepreneurial businesses in order to achieve economic success and grow as leaders in their tribal communities. Our curriculum begins by helping artists express their own vision and Indigenous values, including generosity, wisdom, respect, integrity, strength, fortitude and humility. These ultimately become the foundation of their businesses.

Indian Equity Fund Small Business Grant: Technical Assistance

The State of Montana, Department of Commerce has announce they are accepting applications for the 2016 Indian Equity Fund Small Business Grant. And the NACDC is offering technical assistance with the applications process. We are a Native American Business Advisor (NABA).

Microenterprise and Small Business Loans

NACDC Financial Services offers microenterprise and small business loans up to $100,000 with repayment terms up to seven (7) years. Loan funds can be used as startup capital necessary to launch a new small-scale business venture or to expand an existing business. They can also be used for equipment and inventory purchases, working capital, acquisition of land or buildings, construction of buildings and/or leashold improvements for a commercial space.

Credit Builder Loans

Credit Builder loans offer individual clients the opportunity to prepare for asset-building opportunities such as home ownership, opening a small business, or getting a car loan. These loans are paid directly to the vendors or creditors and are available up to $10,000 with terms of two (2) years or less.

Native Cash- Your one-stop shop for cash services!

Native Cash offers three core services: check cashing, short-term loans and wire transfers. In general, Native Cash has two key competitive advantages on all three services: price and convenience. The services, benefits and competitive advantages are described below:

  • Check Cashing- We have and maintain a convenient location and hours on Piegan Street in Browning, Montana. Customers are able to bring in their checks and have their cash in a few minutes and at the best price.

  • Short-Term Loans- NACDC Financial Services provides short-term loans to individuals through Native Cash for groups that are very high risk and cannot obtain financing elsewhere

  • Wire Transfers-  Native Cash provides wire transfer services through Western Union at a competitive rate with better hours than the local market.

Mini-Bank Program

Sound financial education, delivered in class or in practice, is critical to helping young people develop the skills and knowledge needed to make sensible decisions about money. The mini-bank provides a hands-on means for kids to learn the financial basics that will serve them in their adult lives. Our School Banking Program helps kids develop good saving habits and gives them the confidence and independence to make sound financial decisions.
